lshookMonthly Partner Letter

Jerry SavelleAs a thank you for your gift this month, I want to send you a powerful message I recently preached titled, Expect God to Do Great ThingsClick here to give>

We serve a loving, great God. My prayer for you this month is that you and your loved ones would experience God’s love and power in greater ways than ever before.

But let me ask you this: Is your faith set to believe for greater things?

Scripture tells us that God’s desire is to increase, expand, and advance forward. God doesn’t regress; He’s about progress! We are told in Haggai 2:9, “The glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house.” This means that God isn’t content with simply repeating what has been done before, but He is going to do something even greater.

Jesus even stated that those who believe in Him would do even GREATER works than what He did (John 14:12).

I have discovered that faith and expectation go hand and hand. If someone says they have faith for something but then do not actually live like they expect it to happen, it’s more of a wish than real faith.

I want this letter to strengthen your faith and produce an expectation in your life to see and experience the GREATER THINGS that God has in store for you.

Do you truly believe God has something greater for your family, your career, your witness for Him, your finances, and every other area of life? If you do, then you will expect it to come to pass!

Jesus said “Do you believe that I am able to do this? . . . According to your faith let it be done to you” (Matthew 9:28-29).

Faith and expectation go hand in hand. But it doesn’t stop there. If you truly believe it and if you truly expect it to come to pass, then the evidence of that will be shown in how you talk and what you say!

I know there are a lot of people who think that saying it doesn’t have anything to do with receiving it, but the truth is, they’re wrong! When you speak and put words to your faith and expectations, you create the environment for God to produce those things in your life.

That’s the Bible way! There is life and death in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21). You can see this principle throughout God’s Word in both the Old and New Testaments.

I can’t stress enough the importance of decreeing what God says because it’s the Bible way of bringing what can’t be seen yet into reality. This principle is actually at work in your life—and everyone else’s—right now.

In fact, I have a hard time being around people who constantly talk doubt and unbelief. Do you know people like that? They say stuff like, “If something bad can happen, it’s going to happen to me.” “Whatever can go wrong, will go wrong!” They are simply putting words to what they believe. And guess what, they receive exactly what they believe and say. They call it into reality.

The Apostle Paul tells us in Romans 4:17 that God calls things that are not, as though they were! The example Paul is writing about is when God renamed Abram to Abraham which means, “the Father of many nations,” even when he had no children.

Not only that, but God was calling Abraham this when it was impossible for his wife to ever conceive! But it didn’t stop God from decreeing it anyway.

Paul tells us that we have the “same spirit of faith” as our Heavenly Father (2 Corinthians 4:13). Refuse to allow your circumstances to dictate what you say. Begin to decree that greater things are happening in your life—greater manifestations of God’s goodness, greater breakthroughs, greater miracles, greater blessing and favor!

What I am sharing with you today is the very principle I have applied to receive everything I have for the past 45 years. So when I hear people say, “Well, that hasn’t worked for me,” I’m not moved in the least.

Every time I receive a prophetic word from the Holy Ghost, I begin to speak it out of my mouth and decree it every day. And as a result, it always comes to pass.

So, why would I want to listen to those who say it doesn’t work? And why would you? Don’t allow other’s unbelief to steal God’s blessing from you.

God desires for you to experience a greater level of His glory and presence than ever before. Believe it. Expect it. Speak it!

Joel 2:21 says, “The Lord will do great things.” What are the great things you are believing for? It could be a physical healing, a relationship restored, a financial breakthrough, or maybe, like Abraham, you are simply waiting on a promise from God to be fulfilled. Now is not the time to become weary or lose faith.

I can sense in my spirit that we’ve entered into a new season of God’s glory being poured out and I, for one, am extremely excited about it.

God has reserved the best for last, and we are living in the last days right now! Jesus is returning for a victorious Church, and we intend to be right in the middle of what He’s doing. We are headed for greater things than we have ever seen before! Do you expect it?

I expect it. And that is why it is so vital right now to stand up and boldly declare the truth of God’s Word and the good news of Jesus Christ around the world, train believers to grow in the Word, and mentor disciples to be future leaders in the Body of Christ.

There is no time to waste. People have been hurting, lost and bound to the lies of Satan for long enough. We are in a time of greater manifestations of God’s glory to be revealed and to bring healing to the brokenhearted and freedom to the captive. Today is the day of salvation!

As you give this month, I want you to have a recent message the Lord had me teach at my home church called Expect God to Do Great Things. I know that it will speak to your spirit and cause your faith to grow to receive greater things.

I hope you know how grateful Carolyn and I are for your continued support each month that has enabled us to be a voice to you and the Body of Christ for 45 years!

Now, don’t finish this letter down without examining if your mouth is in agreement with your faith. Commit now to speak words of faith for the greater things you are believing for and expecting!

I believe in you. I pray for you. I am so thankful that God chose to link you and me together for His GREATER purpose!

In Him,

Jerry Savelle

P.S. Now is the time for us to see our GREATEST manifestations of God’s presence thus far. Think about this . . . when Moses asked to see God’s “glory,” God told him that He would show him His “goodness” (Exodus 33:18-19). I believe we will see the goodness of God in manifestation GREATER than we’ve ever seen it before. Dare to believe it and dare to receive it, in Jesus’ Name!
