Have you felt a stirring in your heart that something new is coming, but you are not quite sure how to step into it yet?

Have you sensed that God is inviting you into a fresh, life-giving season, even while you are still carrying the weight of old thoughts, old disappointments, or old expectations?

What if this season is about letting God clear the way for something new?

Every year, spring reminds you that God is never finished. When things look bare or quiet, God is already at work bringing life again. What seems dormant is not dead. Renewal is already in motion.

Lately, I have been in a real cleaning mode at home. Closets, drawers, shelves. I have been clearing out things I did not even realize had piled up over time. As I have been cleaning, the Lord has been speaking to my heart about you.

Spring cleaning is not just for your home. It is for your mind.

Over time, thoughts pile up. Old ways of thinking. Grief. Disappointments. Worries. Words spoken years ago that should never have stayed with you. Before you even realize it, those thoughts can sit quietly in the corners of your mind, shaping your expectations, draining your joy, and limiting your faith.

God never intended for you to live weighed down and held back like that.

Romans 12:2 tells you that real transformation happens when your mind is renewed. That renewal does not happen automatically. You choose it. Just like cleaning out a room, you decide what stays and what goes. You remove what no longer belongs and make room for truth that brings life.

As you step into this new season, there are some things that can't remain. They need to be cleaned out to make room for the blessings God has for you.

There is a deeper spiritual reality at work in this season, and it is called pruning

Jesus said in John 15:2 that if you are bearing fruit, the Father prunes you so that you can bear more fruit. Pruning does not mean something is wrong with you. It means God sees greater potential in you. He removes what is limiting growth so that what remains can become stronger, healthier, and more productive.

God will often reveal thoughts, habits, or expectations you have carried for years. They may have helped you once, but they will not take you where He is leading you now. When God prunes, it is never to reduce you. It is always to increase you.

Jerry and I have taught for decades that the Word of God is how God does this work in you. James 1:18 declares that you are born again (recreated, transformed) by the Word.

As you look into God’s Word, you are being changed into the image of Christ, moving from glory to glory by the Spirit of the Lord (2 Corinthians 3:18). And Psalm 1 promises you that when you delight in God’s Word, you become like a tree planted by rivers of water, producing fruit in every season.

When your mind is renewed, your expectations rise. When your expectations rise, your faith has room to work. Pruning clears the way. Renewal produces increase.

That is why I want to place something specific in your hands during this season.

As our thank you for your partnership, we want to send you Jerry’s message, Expanding Your Expectations.

This teaching will help you recognize where God is inviting you to let go of limited thinking and step into higher expectations. It will help you understand that what God is pruning in your life right now is directly connected to the greater fruit He has planned for you.

This new season is an invitation for you.

  • An invitation to release what no longer belongs.
  • An invitation to renew your mind with God’s truth.
