JOB DESCRIPTION
Regular Office Hours: 37.5 weekly

General Directive

Jerry Savelle Ministries International exists to reach people around the world with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, teaching them to become the winners in life that God created them to be. The directives to fulfill Dr. and Mrs. Savelle’s God-given vision are: motivating – evangelizing – discipling – and reaching out to people around the globe with Biblical truths concerning spiritual growth, renewing the soul, and healing their bodies, finances, and relationships.

In line with Biblical stewardship, the Production Department is integral to the success of the Ministry and its primary objective is to provide excellent service to the public.

    • HFCC MA Annual Conference
    • COL PAL Annual Rally

Primary Duties

  • Recognizes there may be area/s of work required above known skill level or training and is expected to develop those skills; continued personal growth, coupled with a “can do” attitude, is a must
  • Develop a working knowledge of the content of all JSMI products
  • Insures that goods and services are produced efficiently, are of excellent quality, quantity and cost; takes ownership of the quality of products produced
    • Download and Process daily orders from order entry software
    • Assist in updating inventory database to track the location and transfer of products
    • Accurately pick/pack customer orders for shipment both domestic and international
    • Generate shipping labels using UPS Worldship and/or similar software
    • Pulls prayer request information from daily orders log for Partner Relations
    • Restock pick shelves
    • Maintaining pre-determined stock levels
    • Prepare and generate monthly/quarterly reporting for inventory management
    • Performs physical inventories on a monthly basis as required
    • Receive new inventory
    • Oversee loading and unloading of goods
    • Places Replenishment Orders for Packaging and Shipping Supplies
    • Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents
    • Pre-Package Envelopes for Weekly Welcome Packs
    • Processing and Sending Weekly Welcome Packs for New Contacts
    • Sending Master CDs and Product Orders to international offices
    • Folding, stuffing and running postage daily as needed
    • Pack/ship for church meetings
    • Set up and break down product sales at church meetings (when required)
    • Participate in airport runs
    • Some domestic travel

  • High school diploma
  • Practices excellence in serving and continual relationship building with all product purchasers
  • Proficient in basic computer and word processing skills, i.e. MS Word, MS Excel, MS Office and other PC-based applications
  • Able to maintain confidentiality of JSMI/HFCC business and individual personal accounts
  • Detail oriented and able to handle multiple priorities; able to maintain speed and efficiency with minimal supervision
  • Able to work overtime on an “as needed” basis
  • Efficient, follows directions well, and dependable
  • Responsible to see jobs through to the end no matter the interruptions or delays.
  • Must maintain confidentiality of JSMI/HFCC business
  • Able to adapt to working in an active, constantly changing environment and maintain focus with an excellent attitude
  • Excellent organization skills, self-motivated and takes initiative
  • Physically fit for warehouse environment: able to sit, stand, push, pull, and lift boxes and equipment upwards of 50+ pounds. Able to use hand equipment, power tools, warehouse tools & equipment (fork lifts, pallet jacks, electronic equipment, folders, mailing machines, etc)

MEDIA – Web Developer

In line with Biblical stewardship, the Media Department is foundational to the success of the Ministry and its primary objective is to craft and administer the public face of the ministry.

    • HFCC MA Annual Conference
    • COL PAL Annual Rally

Overview: The Web Developer oversees all aspects of developing and implementing web related strategies for Jerry Savelle Ministries.

Primary Duties

  • Understands that Internet (and new technology) exposure is integral to Jerry Savelle Ministries reaching the widest possible audience.
  • Employee recognizes that there may be areas of work required that are outside the person’s skill level or training; this means the employee is expected to develop or learn those skills. 
  • Employee is able to multi-task as required and demonstrates good verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Exhibits enthusiasm (with practical knowledge) for continual relationship building with all parties involved in expansion of our web base. 
  • Researches growth trends and new web developments for integration into Ministry websites and web stores (including international offices).
  • Responsible to become familiar with ministry products, outreaches and goals and actively researches ways for better promotion of said products, outreaches and goals.
  • Contributing member of the Media team.
  • As a JSMI team member, participates in the success of Ministry’s major outreaches and/or annual events including:
    • President’s Cabinet/Vision Event
    • HFCC MA Annual Conference
