In-person interviews, presentations and/or orientations are held at our headquarters in Crowley, Texas. All expenses incurred while traveling to and from our location are the responsibility of the applicants. Additionally, applicants that are selected for the positions will be responsible for any expenses incurred during their relocation to Crowley and/or the surrounding areas.

The Media department has a crucial role in creating and distributing content that communicates the organization’s message and engages partners, friends and viewers across the world. This includes managing social media platforms, producing videos, and facilitating live streams that reach broader audiences and fosters community. The Video/Audio Editor’s role is responsible for reviewing, arranging and transforming raw video footage and audio into a polished final product, ensuring that the narrative flows smoothly, succinctly, and meets all objectives. This includes tasks like editing clips, adding sound, enhancing graphics and working with producers to develop the overall quality of the content.
Primary Responsibilities
- Work on-site with the capability of consistently editing high-quality video content for television broadcasts, YouTube, podcasts, social media, ministry promotions, conferences, advertisements, product launches, testimonies, and other ministry initiatives
- Implement professional-quality audio for television programs, podcasts, digital resources, promotional content, and other ministry media
- Apply storytelling techniques, pacing, music, sound design, color correction/grading, motion graphics, and visual effects to create compelling, engaging, and broadcast-ready content
- Demonstrate strong video and audio editing fundamentals such as composition, sound design, audio mixing, and overall production quality through a polished and engaging portfolio
- Emphasize high-quality technical standards and consistently produce content that captivates, engages with a high level of professionalism
- Organize, archive, and maintain media assets, project files, and backups according to department standards
- Deliver projects within set timeframes demonstrating efficiency with time prioritization and management
- Fosters forward-thinking and creativity qualities
- Assist during studio productions, television recordings, conferences, and special events by operating or assisting with cameras, lighting, audio, teleprompters, or other production equipment as needed
- Meet regularly with the media team to review upcoming projects, discuss priorities, solve production challenges, and contribute creative ideas
- Collaborate with the Media Manager, creative team, and other departments to ensure projects are completed accurately, on schedule, and aligned with the organization’s objectives
- Help identify opportunities to improve production workflows, editing efficiency, and overall content quality
- Aid with recording video and audio content both in-studio and on location when required
- Stay updated with industry trends, editing techniques, software updates, AI tools, and emerging technologies to enhance media production
- Consistently aware of JSMI priorities: Mass Discipleship, Leadership, Mentoring, Social Media Engagement and Evangelism (A Heart for Africa, Chariots of Light, Jerry Savelle Bible School)
- Participate effectively in the success of JSMI/HFCC’s major outreaches and/or annual events:
- President’s Cabinet/Vision Event
- HFCC Ministers’ Association Annual Conference
- Chariots of Light Annual Event
- Digital/Physical and/or Live Events
Additional Requirements
- Must live a life that exemplifies Biblical values, a participating member in a local church, and adheres to JSMI’s Statement of Faith
- High school diploma or GED
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in design, fine arts or related fields is a plus
- or 2+ years’ experience in related field
- Effective strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills; follows directions
- Able to quickly adapt to changing work situations
- Must maintain confidentiality of JSMI/HFCC’s business matters, including partners and the organization’s financial information
- Deliver projects within set timeframes and production schedules
- Exhibit versatility in evolving work environment and display flexibility
- Foster team cohesiveness with professionalism, while upholding ethical standards and commitment to the values of the organization
- Detail-oriented even when working under tight deadlines
- Able to handle multiple projects and priorities at the same time
- Capacity to accept constructive feedback objectively and without personal offense
- Must have strong Video/Audio editing skills with hands-on experience creating videos for social media, TV programs, podcasts, digital campaigns, reels/shorts, and other media platforms. This role requires practical editing experience and proficiency in industry-standard design software, not just basic knowledge
- Proficient with hands-on experience editing software products, including Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, Audition, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Pro Tools, Logic etc.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
