What are you believing God for right now?
Maybe there is something in front of you that looks impossible. Maybe you have a need that seems too great, a situation you do not know how to change, or something you have been praying about for a long time.
No matter how long its been, or how big the problem, hear this from my heart: DON’T LIMIT GOD.
One definition of the glory of God is His manifested presence, His manifested power, and His manifested goodness.
When Moses cried out, “Lord, show me Your glory,” God answered him and said, “I will make all my goodness pass before thee” (Exodus 33:18–19).
Think about that. Moses asked to see the glory, and God started talking about His goodness.
You cannot separate the glory of God from the goodness of God.
There is always more of God to know. There is always more of God to experience. There is another dimension of His goodness for you to discover.
James 4:8 says, “Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.” God’s presence is not something you have to beg Him for. He has already invited you to come near.
And when you get into His presence, you begin to see His power. When His power is displayed, you begin to experience His goodness.
I think about my grandchildren. There is something about a grandmother’s heart. I love having those grandchildren around me. I love it when they want to be in my presence.
And when they are in my presence, guess what? Grandmother has the power. Grandmother has the checkbook. And grandmother wants to display her goodness!
I remember taking my grandchildren shopping and telling them, “Go get anything and everything you want.”
They came back with one little thing. I looked at them and said, “Is there something wrong with my English? Grandmother told you to go get what you want!”
I sent them back into the store. They came back with just a few more things. And I thought, What kind of grandchildren have I raised? I was not limiting them. They were limiting themselves.
I wanted to lavish my goodness on them.
Do you know what lavish means? It means more than what is needed. It means to pour out generously, almost as though you were pouring out wastefully.
That is what I want you to see about the goodness of God.
He loves you. He wants you in His presence. He has the power. And He wants to display His goodness in your life.
So I am asking you today: Are you looking at the size of your problem, or are you looking at the size of your God?
Sometimes we can look at the problem and make it so big. The diagnosis looks big. The financial need looks big. The family situation looks big. The mountain in front of us looks big.
And we shrink God down. Don’t shrink God down!
Jeremiah 32:27 says, “Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?”
No!
Financial problems, cancer, and broken relationships are not too great for God. The impossible is not too great for God.
My God is able. Ephesians 3:20 says, “Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think.”
I love those words: “Unto Him that is able.”
There are people today who have made their problem bigger than their God. They need someone to remind them who God is. They need to hear that He is still good, His power is still available, and His presence can still change everything.
That is why your partnership is so important.

And when you sow your seed, release your faith with it! Put a demand on the supply of God. Believe Him for the manifestation of His presence, His power, and His goodness.
I believe God has more for you. I believe there is more of His goodness for you to experience. He is able to do exceeding abundantly above all you can ask or think.
So lift your eyes off the problem. Look at how big your God is.
My God is able. My God is good. And I refuse to limit Him.
Thank you for being our partner. Thank you for helping us carry this message of faith around the world. Together, we are helping people discover that God is bigger than anything they are facing.
In His love and mine,
Carolyn Savelle
P.S. When you send your gift this month, I want you to write down the thing you are believing God for. Look at it and say, “My God is bigger than this.” Then sow your seed in faith and expect His presence, His power, and His goodness to be manifested in your life. Don’t limit God. He is able!
