As you give this month, I want you to also release your faith for freedom in your life. Also, as my thank you to you for your faithful support, my staff will send you a powerful message I hand picked for this month’s teaching resource titled, You Have a Right to be Free. Click here to give>
Is there an area of your life where you need to experience freedom? Maybe it’s freedom from stress, financial lack, emotional turmoil, or physical sickness.
Do you truly have the right to be free from all bondage? Jesus said that He was here to set the captives free (Luke 4:18). Jesus demonstrated setting the captives free in Luke chapter 13. He said in verses 10-17, “So ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound—think of it—for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond…” The New Living Translation says, “Isn’t it right that she be released?”
It is RIGHT for you to be LOOSED from the things trying to hold you in bondage!
It is right for you to live in freedom!
You no longer have to live in bondage! You can be free! Psalm 146:7 says “The Lord frees the prisoners.”
Maybe you are like many people who think, “I’m not a prisoner.” A prisoner, from a spiritual standpoint, is anyone whose liberty or freedom has been restrained. Just like the woman in this story. Luke 13:11 says a “spirit of infirmity” had restrained her.
She was under the control a tormenting spirit. The Bible says that “…she could in no wise lift up herself.” The Message Translation describes her as “So twisted and bent over…that she couldn’t even look up.” This certainly was not the way God had wanted her to live her life!
Somehow she managed to drag herself to the synagogue to pray. When Jesus saw her, He was immediately moved with compassion and laid His hand on her and declared her “loosed from her infirmity.”
At that moment, she was not only “loosed” from 18 years of physical torment, but also 18 years of mental, emotional, and spiritual torment as well! She had been the victim of an evil spirit who, along with preventing her from enjoying a normal healthy life, had also crushed her spirit and made her feel worthless.
Jesus knew her worth when he described her as “the daughter of Abraham”, implying that this woman is a covenant woman, one who has been chosen by God.
Jesus came into her life that day to change her, not only on the outside, but on the inside as well.
And He will do the same for you if you will trust Him today!
Don’t ever forget that your covenant with God makes you valuable to him no matter what the rest of the world may think about you!
Your worth to God is declared in 1 Peter 2:9 where Peter writes, “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people…”
You are God’s special treasure!
Peter goes onto say, “…that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light” (1 Peter 2:9). I love how the Message Translation states it, “Speak out for Him, tell others the night and day difference He made in you, from nothing to something, from rejected to accepted.”
Doesn’t that sound like you’re valuable to Him? No matter how “messed up” your life might be, you are loved by God.
If you have received Him as Lord of your life then you are a covenant child of God, and it is right for you to be loosed from all your bondage!
Is there something keeping you bound or oppressed today? If so, Jesus is saying to you right now, “Thou art loosed!” Dare to believe it! Dare to receive it!
Be like the Centurion in Matthew 8, who boldly declared to Jesus, “Speak the Word only…” That was all he needed to release his faith.
ONE WORD FROM GOD CAN CHANGE EVERYTHING!
The psalmist declared, “He sent his word and healed them and delivered them from their destructions” (Psalm 107:20).
The power to totally deliver is just as much in His word as it is in Himself. When you speak God’s Word, it is no less powerful than if Jesus Himself were there with you. We are told in John 1:1, “In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God.”
Let His Word be final authority – if it says you have a right to be free then you settle it in your heart that you will not live in bondage any longer. In Galatians 5:1 the Apostle Paul reminds us to, “Stand fast, therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.”
Your faith rests in what Christ has done! Only He can “loose” a person; spirit, soul, and body. Only His power can completely obliterate the power of the enemy.
Your freedom has already been purchased. Begin to declare it and walk in it today!
The Lord has given me a prophetic word for 2016 that this is going to be the “Year of the great breaking loose!” And I want to pray and believe with you for your freedom.
As you give this month, I want you to also release your faith for freedom in your life. I also want to know what you are believing to be loosed from.
And, as my thank you to you for your faithful support, my staff will send you a powerful message I hand picked for this month’s teaching resource titled, You Have a Right to be Free.
I want you to have this message! I know that it is an anointed message to break bondage in people’s lives.
Thank you for believing in this ministry and helping me carry this message of hope and freedom to people around the world. Because of you and our other faithful partners, we are breaking people free from the bondage of Satan!

P.P.S We are excited to update you on an important Daystar time change. In January, we moved our Daystar broadcast time from Mondays at 9am Central time to Tuesday at 6pm Central time. This is a real blessing for me to have a time that is more convenient for the many partners that were unable to watch the morning broadcast.
