God is not going to let captivity and destruction stand in your life. You love God, you’re surrendered to Him and He is not going to allow you to fail!
Even when you make a mistake, He is full of grace and compassion toward you. Maybe some bad choices have led you to a place that isn’t good for and your family, but God will not abandon you.
You can read in Deuteronomy chapter thirty when God promises, “…that then the Lord thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee…” (Deuteronomy 30:1-3). The New English Translation says God “will reverse your captivity”.
When I was first starting my journey of faith after surrendering to God, my wife, Carolyn, and I were broke financially and living a defeated life. I thought that I had to convince God to meet our needs, but I was wrong. He was working behind the scenes even where I didn’t realize it.
I learned that God wanted to bless me. I discovered that God had good thoughts toward me and was the God of “more than enough.” I didn’t need to convince God of anything.
God wasn’t the problem; God was the solution. He is the God of the turnaround. He is the God Who reverses things.
Regardless of what you may be going through right now, put your trust and hope in God.
What happens when you align your heart with Him? The prophet Jeremiah declares God’s promise saying, “And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. And I will be found of you, says the LORD, and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all nations…” (Jeremiah 29:13-14).
It’s possible for God to reverse what seems to be irreversible. So you should never give up on God.
No matter how impossible our situation may look, God can turn it around!
Everything that Satan has brought against you in an attempt to destroy your life can be reversed. Do you believe this?
Do you truly believe that God can turn your bad situation into something good? I can almost hear you thinking, “Well, I certainly hope so.”
Well, that’s a start.
All you need to do is add faith to your hope. Hebrews 11:1 in the Passion Translation says, “Now faith brings our hopes into reality and becomes the foundation needed to acquire the things we long for.”
What looks impossible for you? In your own strength, maybe you haven’t been able to overcome yet. But I’ve seen God turn impossible situations around time and time again.
Jesus said in Matthew 19:26, “…with men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
God is known for doing the things that people say are impossible.
I encourage you to dare to believe that God is reversing your situation even as you’re reading my letter.
God’s intended result is for you to experience total victory. In fact, He’s working behind the scenes right now to bring about that victory for you. You should never wonder if God is going to deliver you, but believe God delivers you!
The apostle Paul encouraged the believers in the city of Corinth declaring, “Now thanks be unto God, which always causes us to triumph in Christ…” (2 Corinthians 2:14). Another translation says, “Who is always in the process of making us triumphant.”
God is in the process of turning situations around for your benefit. A process is simply a particular course of action intended to achieve a result. Triumph is the result God has in mind for you.
Never underestimate what God’s power and favor can do in your life. God is going to reverse things for you through what I call “Acts of Unprecedented Favor.”
When God’s favor comes on the scene, nothing can remain as it is. FAVOR CHANGES THINGS!
An example of this is seen in the story of the children of Israel being delivered from captivity in Egypt. God said in Exodus 3:21, “I will give this people favor in the sight of the Egyptians: and it shall come to pass, that, when ye go, ye shall not go empty [handed].” Exodus 12:36 goes on to explain, “And the Lord gave the people favor…and they spoiled [stripped] the Egyptians.”
Can you see how God’s favor made what seemed impossible, possible? God’s favor can do the same for you.
Also, if God wants to turn things around for you then who is capable of stopping Him? The Psalmist wrote, “But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased” (Psalm 115:3).
He’s the Almighty God. He’s the All-sovereign God. He is limitless in power. He is limitless in ability.
There is no sickness too great, there is no financial need too great, and there is no adversity too great. God is reversing things for you.
Whatever challenge you might be facing today, your God is BIGGER, your God is GREATER, and your God is MIGHTIER! Ephesians 3:20 in the Message says, “God can do anything you know – far more than you could ever imagine…”
God doesn’t want you feeling hopeless. He doesn’t want you feeling there’s no way out. He’s working behind the scenes. Dare to believe this!
Jesus said, “All things are possible to him who believes” (Mark 9:23). So, I want to strengthen your faith. I want to infuse your spirit with unwavering faith in God’s promises.
God is changing the direction of your life – the reverse is coming!
Start declaring this over your life and circumstances right now. God wants you living blessed. He wants you living well. He wants you to prosper and overcome. He even wants you enjoying MORE THAN ENOUGH!
Therefore, absolutely refuse to give up. I’ll say it again, God is working behind the scenes right now. It’s never too late for God to come through for you.
